I'll take some fries with that!

Welcome to The Love Shack! Ashley and John's Texas themed wedding needed some honky tonk Engagement Photos, so they chose the historic Cowtown section of Fort Worth for their backdrop. Even though it was the coldest day of 2007, they handled it like troopers.

John and Nicole

John and Nicole got married on December 1, 2007 at St. Thomas Aquanis in Dallas. Friends and family flew in from all over the country to witness their union. The reception that followed was an Italian style bash, and everyone partied like rockstars. The crowd was suprised and overjoyed when John and Nicole began their first dance with the traditional waltz, but ended it in country swing. But the suprise was on John and Nicole when everyone began singing to them as they cut the cake. Then the party really erupted with some of the funnest dancing we've ever witnessed. Congratulations to John and Nicole!

Another wonderful surprise was the first dance. It started as a waltz, and ended in some country swing. (Nicole wore some super cute white cowboy boots for the reception). The guest all loved it!

Mark and Shannon's Wedding

Mark and Shannon had a fairytale wedding and reception. The wedding was held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dallas, and their reception was at the beautiful Royal Oaks Country Club. There were many great moments, such as when Shannon surprised Mark with his football foe's garter. It's a longstanding joke with the couple. Other fun surprises were high stepping, dancing and twirling wedding party introductions. Family and friends came in from all over to wish this wonderful couple well in what we know will be a long life together. Congratulations Mark and Shannon!

Mark and Martha's Engagment

We met this wonderful couple recently, and are so happy to be involved in their wedding. They were engaged at the Plano Nature Preserve, so it was the perfect place to take their engagment photographs. Unfortunately, the day was super windy, and cold, but Mark and Martha were real troopers. Here are some of their engagment photos.

Been painting again!

I've been working really hard trying to learn how to paint photographs. It's hard to learn, but super fun. My thanks go out to Maura Dutra for her wonderful tutorials on the subject.
Here are a few that I've done recently.

Happy Hanukkah!

We are wishing all our Jewish friends the most special Hanukkah ever!

Thanksgiving 2007-California here we went!

For Our Thanksgiving Vacation, we went to sunny Escondido, California to visit Mom and Dad. We spent our days eating way too much, playing penny slots, watching birds and surfers, rock climbing, and playing with Dad's hotrods.
The two cute guys by one of the hotrods is my sweet Hubby, and the other is my darling Dad.
The mountain goat with the big lens is also the hubster.
I hope ya'll enjoy these sunny photos filled with Holiday Cheer!

Jade and Jennifer are a terrifically fun couple. Although it was a bit windy, the day was a perfect fall day. Jenn and Jade married at All Saints Episcopal on October 20th, 2007. The Reception was held at the historic Marquis on Magnolia.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful black floor length gowns, and the guys were dressed to kill. Jenn and Jade used mint green accents, fall gourds, and bright fall colors for the flowers. The amazing cakes were made by Jenn's multitalented mother. (They were incredible!) All the guests had a blast, especially Jenn's sister who got a bit teary eyed when doing the toast. She wasn't alone though......there wasn't a dry eye in the house when she finished her moving celebration of both Jenn and Jade's beatiful relationship. They danced to the wee hours of the morning. It was a truly incredible wedding. Mike and I congratulate them both and wish them all the happiness in the world!!!!!
