Brittany and Daniel's Wedding
Brittany was attending the University of Texas in Austin, having taken and passed her MCAT for medical school when she had an epiphany. She wanted to be a theologist in the ministry. To her initial horror, her ministry application forced her to enroll as a student at foe college, Oklahoma State. But God works in mysterious ways because she met the love of her life, and fellow theologian and ministry student, Daniel. It didn't take their friends long to notice that the pair were becoming closer, and all of the people dearest to them were delighted. These two, they knew, were meant to be with one another. Having gotten to know them, we noticed that they are such good natured people, who can be silly with one another. Their love is real and deep. Their kindness to others was noted by the many speakers who attended their rehearsal dinner. Their closeness to one another is based in how they can help others, and please God. Brittany and Daniel are a very special couple, on a very special mission to help others. We congratulate them on what we know will be a long, happy, and meaningful life.

Stefanie and Dwayne
Stefanie is a chemistry teacher and Dwayne is a personal fitness trainer. Both have outgoing and fun personalities that made shooting their engagement a ton of fun. They were up for anything and everything and Mike and I ended up having a blast!

Wendy and Kyle = Hitched!
Wendy and Kyle are a super sweet couple who met through mutual friends. It wasn't long before Kyle decided to pop the question......at Disneyland! (Right in front of the castle no less). And it was magic for both of them.Wendy looked like a princess in her cathedral length gown, and Kyle, a huge A&M Basketball fan, looked like prince charming in his tux.
The couple married at the Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, and later partied with friends and family at Level Two Events in Uptown. Congratulations Wendy and Kyle!!!!

Questions Answered
Q. Do you use models on your website? Everyone looks like a model!
A. Nope. Every photo you see is one of our brides and/or grooms. You won't find any photos taken at a seminar. Every shot you see here is one we concieved or happened upon, with real live brides and grooms.
Q. What's so important about Photoshop?
A. Using Photoshop well gives us the ability to turn a great photograph into a killer photograph. Sometimes no photoshop is needed at all. Everything is perfect. :-) But it's nice to know that almost any situation can be handled.
Have a bruise on the big day? Gone.
Have a great venue with lots of air ducts and exit signs? Gone.
And there is no extra cost for that. It's just part of what we do.
Yeah, it takes longer. It takes some effort on our part, but you pay for great photos, and that's exactly what we plan to give you. Not ok photos. Not good photos. Great Photos.
Q. How do you decide what photos you do in black and white, and which ones are in color?
A. We don't. We give you each shot in color AND black and white. You decide. After all, you are the boss.
Q. What style do you shoot?
A. We are full time professional photographers. We have devoted our lives to keeping up with the latest trends, equipment, and software. Therefore we are able to adapt to YOUR style. Are you a classic girl? An urban couple? No problem. Again, we are your employees. You hire us for our great photography. We take the time to get to know you, YOUR style, and deliver what you want.
Q. What kind of albums do you carry?
A. We carry all types. We have everything from the traditional album (like your Mom might have), coffee table albums, slip in leather albums, flush mounts, guest book albums. proofbooks,
and crazy beautiful hand embossed albums.
Q. Do you work part time for wedding mills?
A. Nope. Thankfully, our business is thriving. I've got nothing against these places or the photographers who shoot for them. But it's a chapshoot. Sometimes you draw a good one from the hat, and sometimes you don't. You just never know.
Q. Do you have referrals available?
A. Hundreds. Some are on our site. Another great site for reviews are: www.weddingwire.com.
(A verified website who double checks all reviews and is part of Martha Stewart Weddings). But I've got the actual e-mails, cards, and letters in a big file for your review. Just ask, and you will be supplied.
A. What organizations are you a part of, and why is it important?
Q. We are proud members of: Wedding Photojournalists Association (WPJA), WPPI, Professional Photographers association, Dallas Professional Photographer Association, June Wedding Inc., and Photoshop Professionals Association. WPJA is a membership that you are voted into by a jury. Only 5 percent of those who apply, make it in. DPPA and June Wedding, require a vote by majority, and have super strict guidelines for members.
So what does that really mean for you? Probably not alot, but it does demonstrate that we are in good standing in our community, our profession, and our personal work. And more than that, we are commited to staying on the forefront of photography. We are always honing our craft. And while it is fun and inspiring to us, you ultimately benefit. You can rest easy knowing you will get great stuff, in a timely manner, and receive all your albums, prints, and image discs. It's just nice to know.
So keep sending the questions, and I'll do my level best to answer them all. Call if you ever need clarification on anything!
